Edmonton Eskimos quarterback Ricky Ray headlines a trio of big Week 2 performers who were recognized by the Canadian Football League on Tuesday.

Ray threw for 448 yards, the best so far this season in the CFL, and three touchdowns in Edmonton's shootout win over Calgary. Ray hooked up with receiver Jason Tucker for the winning play in the game's waning moments and completed 27 of 41 passes without throwing an interception.

Jesse Lumsden of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats could have easily grabbed the honour but was given recognition as the top Canadian of the week.

Lumsden ran roughshod over the Toronto Argonauts in a 32-12 Hamilton win. He dashed for two touchdowns, including a 57-yard score, while amassing 189 yards.

Dominique Dorsey was one of the few bright spots for Toronto and was recognized as the league's top special teams player for the week.

Dorsey totalled 213 yards on eight returns, which included three kickoffs, four points and a missed field goal.

B.C. sack specialist Cam Wake was named CFL defensive player of the week, rebounding from a so-so opener to record eight tackles and three sacks as the Lions lost to the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
