Maria Aragon, 10, of Winnipeg is getting a lot of attention on YouTube thanks to an endorsement by pop superstar Lady Gaga.
Maria posted a YouTube video of herself playing keyboard and singing a cover of Lady Gaga's latest song, Born This Way. It was posted on Feb. 16 but was pushed into the spotlight on Thursday when Gaga herself mentioned it on her Twitter page.
"Can't stop crying watching this. This is why I make music. She is the future," Gaga's posting stated.

(Twitter.com)She also included the link to Maria's video which had been viewed about 3,100 times prior to Gaga's tweet. By 8 p.m. CT Thursday, the number of viewers had skyrocketed to about 500,000.
"Gaga sent me here," one person commented, while the majority of those who left posted remarks lauding Maria's voice as "amazing."
The number of viewings could continue to soar, as Lady Gaga has 8.2 million Twitter followers.
