Rapper Corey Miller, better known by his moniker C-Murder, has been found guilty of second-degree murder for shooting a fan during a nightclub fight in 2002.
A jury in Louisiana returned the verdict Tuesday afternoon, the second day of deliberations.
The jury had first reached the verdict Tuesday morning, but Judge Hans Liljeberg ordered it back to deliberations because of a questionable vote.
The 38-year-old Miller, the brother of fellow rappers Percy "Master P" Miller and Vyshonn "Silkk the Shocker" Miller, faces life in prison.
His lawyers declined comment after the ruling. Sentencing is pending.
Miller was initially convicted six years ago of killing 16-year-old Steve Thomas during a 2002 brawl at a nightclub in Harvey, La. But a judge overturned the 2003 conviction and ordered a new trial, agreeing with the defence that prosecutors had withheld information about several witnesses.
In May, Miller pleaded no contest to attempted murder in relation to a separate nightclub fight in 2001. He was sentenced to time served in that case.
