Prince Charles lends royal patronage to symphony
Prince Charles has agreed to be a patron of the Regina Symphony Orchestra for the next five years.
The special honour was announced Thursday by Janice Wallace, chair of the board of the orchestra.
"We are honoured to have been selected," Wallace said, noting the RSO is the only orchestra in Canada to have received such a designation.
Charles is a patron of more than 400 organizations across the Commonwealth.
