Morrissey, Blink 182 producer dies
Jerry Finn, the wunderkind producer behind the American band Blink-182 and British singer Morrissey, has died, 12 days after being taken off life support.
Reports on Saturday say Finn died on Aug. 21 at the age of 39, according to Billboard.com.
He suffered a massive brain hemorrhage in July and was taken off life support Aug. 9.
His best-known works include Blink-182's Enema of the State and Morrissey's You Are the Quarry.
Finn first began in the early 1990s as a recording engineer and soon began producing records including Rancid's … And Out Come the Wolves.
He also worked with Green Day, Bad Religion and the Offspring.
At the time of his hemorrhage, Finn had just finished work on the next Morrissey album. Its release date has been pushed back to early 2009 following the producer's death.
